Located at the port of Mar del Plata, on the historic Manzana de los Circos, Bendu is a 40,000 m² retail, cultural and entertainment complex bringing shopping, dining, leisure and major events together under one roof.
The project comprises over 100 retail units spread across several levels, a 5,000 m² anchor supermarket and a food court on a metropolitan scale. Internal circulation was designed to keep movement flowing efficiently between the different zones, improving the visitor experience along routes with heavy footfall.
At the heart of the complex, Bendu Arena is an open-air auditorium and amphitheatre with capacity for 7,000 people, conceived to host concerts, shows and large-scale events. Its design responds to demanding acoustic and structural requirements, fitting into the complex without breaking the continuity of the public space.
The family entertainment area includes indoor leisure facilities, among them the tallest dry slide in the city, with a 12-metre vertical drop, built with a steel structure and finishes designed to withstand intensive use.
