We prepare the ground so that construction starts on a solid base: stripping, excavation, filling, levelling and compaction, with our own plant and continuous survey control.
The process begins with a topographic survey and the setting out of design levels. From there we strip the topsoil, carry out the cuts and fills needed to reach the planned platform, and compact in layers with density testing.
We also handle excavation for footings, foundations and buried services, coordinated with the rest of the works so no time is lost waiting. Where the ground calls for it, we add underpinning, drainage and soil stabilisation.
Earthworks set the conditions for everything that follows: a badly built platform is paid for later in settlement, cracking and cost overruns. That is why we work with continuous survey control and verify densities before closing out each stage.
